He was also the subject of a highly-acclaimed Omnibus documentory, 'The Treble', and recorded Handel's 'Athalia' with Dame Joan Sutherland. Aled Jones continues has successful association with the BBC Welsh Chorus, which since its formation in 1983 has become one of the leading choirs in Wales. The choir broadcasts frequently on both regional and network television and radio and has recently performed in Israel, France and in the Musikverein, Vienna. John Hugh Thomas studied at University College, Cardiff where he obtained his initial and Master's degree in music. In addition to holding the post of Senior Lecturer in Music at University College, Swansea, John Hugh Thomasn pursues a vigorous and varied professional musical life as a singer, broadcaster, lecturer and conductor.
