Below is my review for this release and the ratings.
This drama went on for a few years, probably audiences watched to see the other side. I had seen it occasionally, but not often. The music is good and fits into the character of the show well.

Howards' way is the satory of a family splitting and going their own ways. Their ambitions, conflicts and emotional entanglements are played against the picturesque background of the Hmable river marinas. From being an aircraft designer, Tom Howard moves into the field of high-tech ultra-light displacement craft - to design and build a world-beater, despite conflicts of vested interest and family opposition. Produced and devised by Gerald Glaister it stars: Maurice Colbourne, Jan Harvey, Susan Gilmore and Dulcie Gray.

BBC Radio Enterprises Ltd and BBC Enterprises Ltd, predecessors of BBC Worldwide / BBC Worldwide Ltd., the BBC's commercial arm. Formed 1968 and 1979 respectively, they were a subsidiary wholly owned by the BBC and merged into BBC Worldwide in 1995. In that time, there were companies set up within or structured brands as part of the company to deal with separate parts of the business, e.g. BBC Records for recorded audio. Sometimes written as BBC Enterprise Ltd.
