Readings by members of The Lord's Taverners during the tea intervals of the Player's County League 1970 Season televised on BBC 2.

The Lord's Taverners (which is a registered charity) was formed in 1950 by an actor one Martin Boddey. The membership is restricted to members of any arts who love cricket and cricketers who have a similar affinity for the arts. Its object is to raise money to put back into the game of cricket and all revenue achieved is handed over to the National Playing Fields Association for this purpose. The fees and royalties of every artiste on this record have been donated to the The Lord's Taverners Fund.
